History:
I ImOrca.com actually started as a single page (IMOrca's Tiny Trading Cards Page) on AOL Hometown in the summer of 2000. I expanded to add an eBay seller's policy on Hometown as well soon after that. Then I lurked and researched for a year to see what type of web presence I wanted to have. ImOrca.nu was established and quickly expanded in June 2001. From June 2001 to June 2004 ImOrca.nu housed all the projects I created for the web. In June of 2004, I realized that I was paying way too much for my hosting service, and not getting the services I should for all that money. When I went in search of a new host, I found the opportunity to host 3 domains on a single hosting plan. Score! I'd always been a bit bugged that ImOrca.nu was such and unfocused place. When I began my new plan, I moved everything not related to anime/manga or .nu stuff off, and out onto new domains making this a much more organized place. In August 2006 I was forced to move by increasingly troublesome service from my host again, and in transferring to my new host, I also decided to simplify my life by making domain registration easily renewable (and less expensive), thus the change to ImOrca.com.
