"ImOrca" stems back to the
first e-mail account I ever had. It was about 1993 or 94, and our system still
ran on a VAX server. As part of a ritual for a team I was on, I had chosen my
"totem" or spiritual representative animal to be the Orca. My first password on
that e-mail was "imorca" - roughly translated "I am Orca." It had the benefit of
representing my totem, and my initials at the time - M.I. - were in it, although
transposed. That password turned into id's and more passwords, and all types of
computer file names, and finally into this domain.
